BILLY GILMAN
Bio
At the age of 12, Billy released his first country album, One Voice, with Sony Records. The title track earned Billy a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and was on the Billboard Country Top 40 for seven weeks. Billy became the youngest artist to ever have a Top 40 hit and a 2x platinum album. As Billy grew up and his voice changed, he was eventually dropped from his record deal. In 2014, a reporter found out that Billy was gay and threatened to out him, so Billy posted a YouTube video opening up to his fans as a gay man. Since coming out and choosing a career focused on pop music instead, Billy finally feels like his true self.
