Richard Coyle stars as Caiaphas on NBC's drama series "A.D. The Bible Continues."

Coyle's film credits include Nicolas Winding Refn's "Pusher," "W.E.," Mike Newell's "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time," Ridley Scott's "A Good Year," "The Libertine," opposite Johnny Depp, and Mike Leigh's Oscar-nominated "Topsy-Turvy."

Most recently, Coyle starred on the NBC miniseries "Crossbones," opposite John Malkovich. Previous TV credits include U.K. projects "Going Postal," "The Whistleblowers," "The History of Mr Polly" and "Coupling," as well as "Covert Affairs" for USA Network.

He is also an award-winning stage actor with credits that include Peter Gill's "The York Realist," "Proof" (with Gwyneth Paltrow), Michael Grandage's "Don Carlos" and Jamie Lloyd's "The Lover/The Collection." He was most recently seen in Kenneth Branagh's critically acclaimed "Macbeth" at the Armory in New York.
