Vincent Regan stars as Pilate on NBC's drama series "A.D. The Bible Continues."

Regan is best known for his role as Captain in Zack Snyder's "300." He appeared alongside Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in "Snow White and the Huntsman"; co-starred with Brad Pitt in "Troy"; and starred alongside Nicolas Cage in "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance." Regan's early film credits include "Black Beauty," alongside Sean Bean and David Thewlis; "B. Monkey," with Rupert Everett and Jonathan Rhys Meyers; and Luc Besson's "The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc."

Currently, Regan also stars on E!'s first scripted series "The Royals." He has appeared on numerous BBC series, including "Spooks," "Silent Witness," "New Tricks," "The Musketeers," "Silk" and "From There to Here."

Regan has performed in more than 15 plays, with several appearances for the Royal Shakespeare Company in classics like "King Lear" and "Romeo and Juliet."
