DETROIT YOUTH CHOIR

Detroit Youth Choir finished in second place on “AGT” Season 14 in 2019. Since then, the group has enjoyed momentous success. Awarded keys to the city of Detroit and a $1 million endowment, DYC has grown to more than 120 children. They now have their own headquarters and bus to be able to travel to performances and have performed at prestigious locations, including Carnegie Hall in New York. The pandemic didn’t dampen their success or spirit as the choir continued to perform and rehearse virtually throughout. Awarded Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer in 2019, Terry gave them the Golden Buzzer again in “All-Stars,” propelling them to the Finals.
