- Hometown: East, Tennessee
Bio
All-American country singer Mitch Rossell, from east Tennessee, has country music in his blood. Growing up, Mitch and his father listened to country music together, and his father even bought him his first guitar. After his father’s passing, he began singing and playing guitar as a way to connect with him. His artistry has been gaining steady momentum and he’s amassed almost 100 million streams on Spotify alone. Mitch has also written various radio singles, including Garth Brooks’ “Ask Me How I Know” and a duet with Blake Shelton titled “Dive Bar.” Mitch’s song “Son,” which he performed for his audition, shares a deeply personal and vulnerable journey through the loss of his father and the birth of his first son. After performing on “AGT,” his song soared to No. 1 on iTunes, and he hopes he can achieve further success in future rounds.
