JELLY BOY THE CLOWN

Jelly Boy the Clown, whose real name is Eric Broomfield, is from New York, N.Y. and is now residing in Iceland. As a circus sideshow act, this self-proclaimed “weirdo wizard” has been blending clowning with dangerous science for more than 20 years, swallowing swords with homemade flamethrowers and Tesla coils. Jelly Boy's journey into sideshow was shaped by mentor and retired carnival sword swallower Red Stuart and years of performing on stages across Europe, the U.S., the Middle East and Japan. He’s now taking on “AGT” to cure Simon’s clown phobia and prove that a sideshow act can win it all.
