Jason Kennedy is the co-host of "E! News," co-anchor of "E! News Weekend" and host of "Beyond A.D.," the first-ever NBC Entertainment Digital talk show companion series for "A.D. The Bible Continues."

Kennedy grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and his love for television news became apparent at a very young age. He spent countless hours chasing local news trucks and taking taxis to cover breaking stories for a mock-news show he hosted in his basement. The studio was outfitted with 20 televisions, four cameras, a news desk and a control room. He went on air as an anchor at age 15, and on national television via "Too Hot for Ice" on the America One Television Network at age 17. Kennedy attended the University of Miami, where he received several awards, including the Associated Press Award for Best News Feature in the State of Florida.

Following his graduation in 2004, he moved to Los Angeles and landed a job hosting on the TV Guide Network. He joined E! in 2005 as a correspondent, and in addition to his work on "E! News," he co-hosted "The Daily 10," hosted various E! specials and covered the deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson, while being an integral part of E!'s Live from the Red Carpet awards show coverage. Kennedy also hosted his first prime-time show on ABC, "Dance Machine," was the voice of "American Idol Rewind" on Fox and TV Guide Network, and in 2008 was named one of People Magazine's Hottest Bachelors.

Kennedy appears regularly on "Today" and has also been a recurring guest on "Chelsea Lately."

As a familiar face for TV, he has also guest starred on the TV series "Drop Dead Diva" and "90210." Kennedy was named one of 10 young stars who will become leaders of the broadcast industry in the Los Angeles Times article "Clark Trek: Who Will Become the Next Dick Clark?"

Kennedy lives in Los Angeles.
