Teddy Sears plays Dr. Josh Nichols on the new NBC drama “Brilliant Minds.”

Sears recently co-starred in Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story,” opposite Alicia Silverstone. He can also be seen in the second season of Netflix’s “The Night Agent.”

His previous credits include “Chicago Fire,” “The Flash,” “24: Legacy,” “Masters of Sex,” “Raising the Bar,” “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” “Mad Men” and “Big Love.” Recent voice work includes the DC Comics animated feature “Justice League: Warworld” and “The Disco Ball.”

On the big screen, Sears was seen in “Nine Lives,” directed by Barry Sonnenfeld; “Curve,” opposite Julianne Hough; and in the Tom Ford-directed “A Single Man.”

Originally from Maryland, Sears graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in business management. Following college, he moved to New York to begin his acting career, studying under acclaimed coach William Esper.
