Melissa Peterman plays Gabby on the new NBC comedy “Happy’s Place.”

Peterman is reuniting with Reba McEntire and the “Reba” team of writers and executive producers, including Kevin Abbott, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schulthesis and Julie Abbott.

Peterman recently recurred on “Young Sheldon” and is also host of the game show “Person, Place or Thing.” Previous game show hosting gigs include “Punchline,” “The Singing Bee” and “Bet on Your Baby.”

Peterman co-starred in the TV movie “Haul Out the Holly” and reunited with McEntire in “The Hammer.” She produced and co-starred in a pilot for Food Network with Valerie Bertinelli called “Val’s Kitchen.”
