Amy Poehler serves as host and executive producer, along with Nick Offerman, on NBC's new series "Making It," which celebrates craftiness and creativity.
Poehler is one of Hollywood's most versatile and sought-after talents, with credits that include actress, executive producer and bestselling author. Poehler is perhaps best known for her starring role as Leslie Knope on the Emmy Award-nominated NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation" and for her impressive arsenal of outrageous characters on "Saturday Night Live," where she performed for eight seasons.
Poehler has multiple projects in development as part of her successful production company, Paper Kite Productions. In addition to "Making It," she serves as an executive producer on Comedy Central's "Broad City" and Hulu's "Difficult People." Additionally, she produces and hosts "Ask Amy" on the award-winning online website "Amy Poehler's Smart Girls at the Party," which showcases real girls who are changing the world by being themselves.
Poehler's film credits include "The House," "Sisters," "Baby Mama," "Mean Girls," "Blades of Glory," "Wet Hot American Summer" and Disney Pixar's Oscar-winning smash "Inside Out." Her first book, "Yes Please," was released in 2014 and debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times Best Sellers list.
