The Exorcist (1973)
Without The Exorcist, there would be no demonic possession genre. Period. End of story. That's all, folks! Casino (1995)
Violent, captivating, lush with retro detail, and rocking a killer soundtrack full of period-specific needle drops, Martin Scorsese's Vegas-based gangster flick makes for one heck of a double feature with Goodfellas. As expected, the draw here is the dynamic between Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci as casino manager Sam Rothstein and loose cannon Nicky Santoro, respectively.
