What are some great movies now streaming on Peacock?

The Exorcist (1973)

Without The Exorcist, there would be no demonic possession genre. Period. End of story. That's all, folks! While comparatively tame to some of today's supernatural horror fare, director William Friedkin's groundbreaking adaptation of the William Peter Blatty novel singlehandedly created a new breed of cinema, scaring an entire generation of moviegoers half to death along the way.

Casino (1995)

Violent, captivating, lush with retro detail, and rocking a killer soundtrack full of period-specific needle drops, Martin Scorsese's Vegas-based gangster flick makes for one heck of a double feature with Goodfellas. As expected, the draw here is the dynamic between Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci as casino manager Sam Rothstein and loose cannon Nicky Santoro, respectively.

Happy Gilmore (1996)

Get hyped for the upcoming sequel with one of the most iconic Adam Sandler comedies ever made. To this day, Happy Gilmore remains a wild ride — be it Chubbs' vendetta against the alligator that ate his hand, Shooter McGavin's's fragile ego, Ben Stiller's unhinged orderly Hal, or Happy's gold course brawl with the late Bob Barker. "The price is right, b****!"

Interstellar (2015)

Ten years after its release, Christopher Nolan's sci-fi odyssey (not to be confused with his upcoming take on THE Odyssey) remains one of the most ambitious genre films ever to grace the Silver Screen. The journey of Coop (Matthew McConaughey) and his fellow astronauts to find a new world for doomed humanity never fails to inspire awe and wonder — particularly with its scientifically accurate depictions of heady concepts like time dilation and black holes.
