Adam Levine's Kids: Inside His Beautiful Family Life with Behati Prinsloo

Adam Levine has many roles: Maroon 5 frontman, People's 2013 Sexiest Man Alive, a beloved former Coach of The Voice. But when the work day is done, Levine heads home to his happy family of five to play arguably his favorite role ever: Dad.
Levine has been married to model Behati Prinsloo since 2014, and they have three children together. Levine left his longtime post on The Voice in 2019, and a big reason why was to spend more time with family.
“I was just constantly working for so many years — very lucky, very fortunate, very blessed and all that, but [I wanted] to be able to spend time in this moment with my new, young family, and just have the greatest time ever," Levine said on Ellen. "Now I’m just, like, a stay-at-home dad! I just stay home and do very little. It’s great.”

Who is Adam Levine married to?
Levine is married to model and actress Behati Prinsloo.
Born in Grootfontein, Namibia, Prinsloo skyrocketed to fame after becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2009. Prinsloo has since walked in fashion shows for Prada, Alexander Wang, Versace, and Marc Jacobs, among others. She's also been featured in dozens of editorial ad campaigns, appearing on covers for Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire, and that's just scratching the surface of her career.

Levine and Prinsloo first met in 2012 after being introduced to each other by a friend. They originally chatted over email, but those virtual conversations quickly bloomed into a genuine connection. "It was such a natural correspondence that we kind of fell in love over email," Prinsloo adorably revealed to Net-A-Porter in 2019.
By October 2012, Levine and Prinsloo started publicly dating and have been going strong since. Prinsloo has even been featured in several of Maroon 5's music videos, including "Animals," "Cold," "Girls Like You," and "Lost."
When did Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo get married?
After a year of dating, Levine and Prinsloo got engaged in 2013. The happy couple was officially married on July 19, 2014 in a destination ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Levine opened up about the nerves of popping the question in a 2013 interview on Live! with Kelly & Mark. "Doesn't matter how certain you think you are, man. You still get down on that knee, and everything turns … you just get woozy," Levine revealed. "You're like, 'I'm doing this, oh my God.' And like, you can't be confident about it. It's almost like it's impossible; you can be the most confident, I'm a confident person — but I got on that knee, and everything changed immediately. I lost my equilibrium."
Levine and Prinsloo's wedding was a star-studded affair, featuring performances from Maroon 5, Sublime, and Stevie Nicks. Attendees included Coco Rocha, Robert Downey Jr., and Jonah Hill, who had the honor of officiating Levine and Prinsloo's ceremony.
Who are Adam Levine's kids?
Levine and Prinsloo have three kids: Dusty Rose, 7; Gio Grace, 5; and their youngest boy, born in January 2023.
Levine and Prinsloo have always been very vocal about wanting a big family.
"We want, like, a lot. At least [five]," Levine told Ellen DeGeneres shortly after welcoming their second, Gio, to the family in February 2018. "Maroon 5. We have to have a band of children."
In November 2021, Prinsloo echoed the Maroon 5 singer's sentiment to ET. "We always knew we wanted a second [kid]," Prinsloo explained. "So I think for me in those two years when I had two babies under the age of two, I was just like, 'Don't even think about it!' But I do also want five kids, but don't even think about it."
"You know what? Never say never," Prinsloo said. "We want a big family. Who knows? We're leaving it up to fate."
In January 2023, Levine and Prinsloo added another band member to the family after announcing they had their third child together.
"I don't know how you can have a better life. I’m lucky enough to do what I love professionally, but also have the greatest personal life and family I could ever ask for," Levine said in a December 2023 People interview. "And having kids and a wonderful wife, and just that life that I cling so much to. I love it so much.”
“It means more than my career,” Levine continued. “But at the same time, having both is just a gift. And I think you don't appreciate s--- like that until you get a little older… As the years go on, I just get sappier and more sentimental about it. I love it so damn much.”

Prinsloo and Levine are co-founders of the spirits company Calirosa Tequila.

"It's honestly been really fun for us. I think we've always wanted to do something together, and this is such a perfect thing where we have this kind of creative outlet and creative control over things, and also learning so much about a new business that we didn't know about," Prinsloo told ET. "There's kinks that we have to figure out and things that we don't know, and we are just trying to stay really true to who we are and what we want the brand to be."

On May 23, 2023 Maroon 5 released the music video for their new song "Middle Ground," which the band performed during The Voice Season 23 finale. The powerful music video stars the Levine family; Dusty and Gio appear throughout the heartwarming clip.
