Every Golden Buzzer Act From AGT: All-Stars
We're still reeling from that Light Balance Kids performance!
AGT 2023 starts early this year with America's Got Talent: All-Stars, a new show that sees many of your favorite Acts returning to compete. "Each week 10 Acts will perform for the Judges for the chance to earn one of the coveted five Golden Buzzers and move on to the finals," an official description for the show reads. "The AGT Superfans will also vote on an additional Act to move onto the finals. Following the final performances, the Superfans will vote again on the 11 finalists to choose the winner, which will be revealed in the two-hour star-studded finale. "
So, who will emerge victoriously as the All-Star? It's hard to predict, but the Golden Buzzer winners could be a good place to start. Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Host Terry Crews will each get to award an Act a Golden Buzzer that automatically sends them to the finals. There also will be a Group Golden Buzzer that the five of them decide on. That's five lucky Acts total who will get the honor.
See who they are, below:
Week 5: Tom Ball
Cowell compared the Britian's Got Talent runner-up to another Got Talent legend.
"Tom, I'm actually angry about something," he said. "I wish this was the first time I'd ever heard Tom, in a weird way. You're like Susan Boyle's grandson because what you do is not what we expect. For me, this is the best performance I've seen all series."
Week 4: Aidan McCann
Following his unexplainable comic book themed magic Act, Klum couldn't help but award the 13-year-old with a Golden Buzzer.
"I don't know how you did it," she said. "You are incredible. I love the magic, but really it is you who is the magic, you really are. I think you're such a little star. You sparkled."
Week 3: Mike E. Winfield
Upon his return to the AGT stage following Season 17, Simon Cowell awarded the stand-up with his very first Golden Buzzer.
“I think if you had done that routine in the final it would have been a completely different story because you’ve come back funnier, more confident," Cowell said. "I can even see it in your eyes how much this means to you right now."
Week 2: The Detroit Youth Choir
Terry Crews gifted the choir with their second-ever Golden Buzzer four years after they first received the honor from the Host in Season 14.
“Mr. White, you have changed the lives of thousands of young men and women all over," he said. "For what you have done for the city of Detroit. For what you have done in this world, one Golden Buzzer! Is that enough?”
Week 1: Light Balance Kids
Mandel awarded his Golden Buzzer to this dance group, who traveled all the way from Kyiv, Ukraine to compete in AGT: All-Stars. Mandel was touched by the crew's courageous story—their home country is currently in the middle of a war.
“You’ve always been one of my favorite Acts that I have seen in the history of America’s Got Talent,” Mandel told the group during the episode. “And there’s such an amazing message here where you come from, at this point, it’s arguably the darkest place in the world. And you come across the globe to bring us light. And if I can do anything, anything on behalf of America, on behalf of AGT: All-Stars, to bring you even more light than you brought us, I'd like to do that for you.”
Which Acts will get the remaining Golden Buzzers? To find out, be sure to watch AGT: All-Stars Mondays at 8/7c on NBC. You can also stream the episodes next day on Peacock.
