Though we're still celebrating magician Dustin Tavella's Season 16 win, we can't help but remember the many other memorable America's Got Talent Acts that stole our hearts. Take crooner Storm Large, who showed off her raw and unique vocals from her first appearance on the series in Season 16, wowing Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel.

How to Watch

"I've been a musician for 30 years singing and this is an enormous, terrifying opportunity," she said at the time. "This is my very first time coming, and it is a huge honor to come cartwheeling into this massive arena. It's kind of like food for the soul."

As we prepare for AGT Season 17 next month, take a look back at each of Large's impressive performances.

Storm Large's AGT Audition

For her audition the 51-year-old singer presented her own powerhouse rendition of Cole Porter's "I've Got You Under My Skin" (made famous by Frank Sinatra). The performance earned a standing ovation from the crowd and all four Judges.

After the Judges didn't advance Large to the Quarterfinals, she got a second chance to compete in the very first AGT: America’s Wildcard special on Peacock. Following this performance of Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me," fans voted her into the last round of Season 16's Quarterfinals.

Large's performance on the AGT stage was a ballad of A-ha's "Take On Me." Unfortunately, she failed to earn the fan vote or Instant Save. And though Klum vouched for her during Judge's Choice, it wasn't enough to advance Large to the Semifinals. But though that was the last we saw of her on the AGT stage, if you're in Seattle in the coming days, Large is currently on tour in the city throughout April.

Want more amazing talent? Luckily, the next season of AGT is rapidly approaching. Season 17 kicks off on May 31 at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour premiere on NBC. Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara all return to the table, alongside veteran Host Terry Crews.

But if you're craving some talent competition content right now, tune in to American Song Contest Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The Eurovision-esque show sees 56 Artists representing either a U.S. state, territory, or Washington, D.C. compete in the battle for Best Original Song. Don't miss it!
