See How This New AGT Ventriloquist Gets His Voice Stolen by His Puppet

Jack Williams and his puppet, Foster, wowed the Judges.

By McKenzie Jean-Philippe

America's Got Talent is no stranger to mind-blowing ventriloquist Acts. (We'll never forget past winners Terry Fator, Paul Zerdin, and Darci Lynne.) And it looks like we could be adding another name to the list of AGT greats.

How to Watch

Watch America’s Got Talent on NBC and Peacock

In a sneak-peek clip teasing AGT's June 14th episode, we're introduced to Jack Williams and his puppet friend, Foster. Before beginning his Audition, the Indianapolis native told Judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel that he was inspired by Fator from Season 2.

"Terry was one of the first ventriloquists I ever saw, and when I saw him on the stage I just thought, 'I wanna do that, that's amazing,'" he said. "That's why I wanted to come here today. I wanna do this live on the Vegas strip."

Williams and Foster's banter was a hit with the Judges and audience alike, with the puppet and puppeteer even swapping roles at one point. But you'll have to watch the clip, above, to see exactly what we mean.

And if you're in the mood for even more ventriloquism, take a look back at Celia Munoz's Audition from Season 17, Episode 1. Munoz traveled all the way from Spain to show off her ventriloquist skills while brushing her teeth, speaking on the phone, mimicking a radio, and flossing.

To see how far both Williams and Munoz make it in the competition, tune in to AGT every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
