Jack Falahee Reveals All About His TV Reunion with Aja Naomi King (INTERVIEW)
The former How to Get Away with Murder co-stars have kept in touch over the years, reuniting in sunny suburbia on NBC's Grosse Pointe Garden Society.
As Grosse Pointe Garden Society's nail-biting murder mystery continues to unfold in sunny suburbia, fans of another popular crime drama may have gotten excited about that on-screen reunion between former How to Get Away with Murder co-stars Aja Naomi King and Jack Falahee.

Ahead of his character's debut, NBC Insider spoke with Falahee about his Grosse Pointe Garden Society reunion with King and how his former co-star helped him land the exciting new role.
How Jack Falahee ended up guest starring on Grosse Pointe Garden Society
Six years on a show led to a beautiful friendship between Falahee and King, who have kept in touch "big time" since HTGAWM's 2020 series finale. "I think that we're really lucky that it truly became a family unit on [HTGAWM]," Falahee told us. "We all genuinely loved each other's company. And Aja and I have been very, very close."
It doesn't hurt that both actors live in Los Angeles, so it's not too hard to connect. Throughout the years, Falahee has formed a heartwarming bond with King's husband, Dan King, and their young son, Kian. "I'll go and work out with [Dan] and then go bother her while she's being a movie star until she kicks me out of the house. You know, terrorize their son," Falahee teased.
The Grosse Pointe Garden Society guest star is a cemented member of King's crew; Falahee even crashed with his HTGAWM friend and her family while filming his episodes for NBC's murder mystery. "It felt like being with my own family, you know? Just like living with them," Falahee said. "And not only getting to admire how she's grown as an actress and a leader on set, but also how much she's grown as a mother and a partner and person." He added that it was "a really beautiful experience" to "see a slice of their life."
Falahee revealed that King played a significant role in him landing his guest role on Grosse Pointe Garden Society. Like many actors in the industry, Falahee was impacted by the pandemic and the 2023 WGA strikes. Then after suffering an injury, Falahee says he was "down bad" for work following his recovery. After asking a few close friends to give him the heads up if they heard about any juicy roles, King pulled through.
"Without missing a beat, Aja called me two days later and said that there was a fun little role on her show, and if I'd be interested, she'd put in a good word for me," Falahee said. "I cried because it meant so much to me, honestly. I just think that that's a testament to who she is, you know? She walks the walk."
While Falahee said he's "always known that" about King's character, he was moved by the experience. "I always knew," he said. "I was like, 'She's 'gonna be a star.' And she is... I just am really grateful, and it was such a pleasure. I just love her so much."
Who does Jack Falahee play on Grosse Pointe Garden Society?
Falahee plays Pierce on Grosse Pointe Garden Society, a charming realtor who first met Catherine after running into her at a coffee shop in Season 1, Episode 6 ("Plant Parenthood"). Pierce is the proud owner of the Grosse Pointe realty company Goldman Properties.
"I grew up not far from Grosse Pointe, so I know this world very well," Falahee told NBC Insider. "Like I know [a Pierce], I grew up with Pierces, you know? And I think in another version of my life, I maybe am a Pierce. And so that really attracted me to [the role]."
While their connection begins flirtatiously friendly — Pierce invites Catherine to return to real estate after slinging his business card — Falahee revealed that their relationship will become entertainingly tense in upcoming episodes.

"In [Episode 7], I think it gets a little bit more adversarial," Falahee said, drawing parallels to his and King's rivalrous characters in How to Get Away with Murder. "Actually, kind of more like the Connor-Michaela dynamic in a way... So there's just this hilarious sort of squaring off between us as we're showing this house to a homeowner."
Falahee said he and King had a blast together while filming Grosse Pointe Garden Society — revealed what he's "secretly hoping" happens to his character.
"Aja and I were just, like, cackling all day on set because we were just trying to do more and more absurd takes and really play into the comedy," Falahee recalled fondly. "But I'm secretly hoping that they bring me back and that Catherine gets to kill Pierce because I just think that it would be really fun to be Aja's victim."
