Sandler will receive the People's Icon Award at the 2024 People's Choice Awards, airing February 18 on NBC.
Starting with his hilarious antics on Saturday Night Live, funnyman Adam Sandler has created a larger-than-life persona of comedy brilliance. But the Waterboy and Uncut Gems star is also a devoted family man to his wife and two daughters. The actor is being honored with the People's Icon Award at the 2024 People's Choice Awards — he's also up for The Comedy Movie Star of the Year — and frankly, we can't think of anyone more deserving. (The show airs Sunday, February 18 at 8/7c on NBC and Peacock.)

Is Adam Sandler married?
Sandler met his wife, Jackie, on the set of his 1999 comedy Big Daddy, in which she had a small role. She's since gone on to cameo in most of his films, per TODAY. As Sandler tells it, it was love at first sight; in an Instagram post, he wrote, "We locked eyes and fell deep."
The pair married in 2003 and have been inseparable ever since. On their 20th anniversary, Sandler posted a picture from their wedding day to Instagram, writing, "Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your 'I do' was the best gift of my life. My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you, and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day. Us. The kids. Let's keep going and going babe. Lots of love to give you. Always."
Who are Adam Sandler's kids?
In 2006, they welcomed a daughter Sadie, and in 2008, daughter Sunny joined the family. They co-starred with their father in the recent comedy You're So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
Does Adam Sandler have siblings?
Of course the baby of the family became a ham. Sandler is the youngest of four and says his parents, Stanley and Judy Sandler, gave the kids an idyllic upbringing in New Hampshire. He is still incredibly close with his siblings, Valerie, Scott and Elizabeth; Scott is even an executive at Sandler's production company, Happy Madison Inc.

“Growing up, my parents did everything they could to give me crazy confidence at literally everything I did. School, sports, singing, joking, they acted like I was the best at all those things, even though other kids were way better than me,” Sandler quipped during his acceptance speech for the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, per People.
