Carson Daly and His Wife Have the Most Beautiful Family Life — and Blake Shelton's Part of it
The Voice Host Carson Daly reveals how a "sleep divorce" is just one key to his happy marriage with wife Siri.
Carson Daly is a busy man! The longtime television personality became a household name while hosting TRL on MTV, and most recently while working on NBC's morning news show Today and serving as the host of The Voice. But he’s still found time for love and family — creating a happy home life that includes four children.
Who Is Carson Daly's Wife, Siri?
Carson actually found the love of his life, Siri, while working on his late-night show, Last Call With Carson Daly, that aired on NBC from 2002 to 2019. His now-wife, Siri Pinter, was a writer’s assistant on the show, according to PEOPLE magazine.
“She would walk into our meetings, and I would look at the other dudes in the room, like, ‘Do you see what I see?’ It was undeniable,” Carson said to PEOPLE.
The couple got engaged in 2013, according to Hollywood Life, and got married just before Christmas in 2015.
“The husband and wife thing is just the bow around something,” Carson told PEOPLE. “Our end game is we want to be together forever.”

Carson and Siri have been very public about their relationship, with Carson often sharing intimate details about how the two keep their marriage alive.
He shared the couple started sleeping in separate bedrooms while she was pregnant with their fourth child in 2020, calling it a “sleep divorce.”
“I was served my sleep-divorce papers a few years ago,” he said on the Today show. “It’s the best thing that ever happened to us. We both, admittedly, slept better apart. We woke up, we just shook hands, like, ‘I love you, but it’s time to sleep divorce. It’ll be the best thing for all of us.'”
He also said he and Siri previously tried a Scandinavian sleep method of sharing their bed — but not their blankets.
“You have your own comforters or duvets,” Carson said on the Today show. “Studies have actually found that sleeping with the same blanket can result in more interrupted sleep, as much as 30 percent.”
Whatever they’re doing — it's working! Siri posted this snapshot on Instagram on Christmas 2021 of she and Carson smiling with their children.
Siri also posted a picture on Instagram of her and Carson kissing on their seventh wedding anniversary last December, writing “I love doing life with you.”
All About Carson and Siri's Four Children
Carson and Siri have four children: Jackson, 14, Etta, 10, London, 8 and Goldie, 2.

He shared on Today he found out the sex of his oldest child when Siri started talking in her sleep. The gender was up until that point a surprise to The Voice host.
“I left all the doctors appointments when that time came, and then third trimester, one night, she got chatty,” he said on the show.
Jackson is already taking after his father, and has interviewed a few celebrities, including Hugh Jackman and Matthew McConaughey.
“I learned that you always have to be prepared, and just act like you’re having a conversation,” Jackson said on Today. “[Celebrities] are just regular people. Don’t overthink it.”
All of the Daly children are close with one celebrity in particular: former The Voice coach Blake Shelton.
Earlier this year, Shelton gave Daly’s oldest child, Jackson, a tour of The Voice set for NBC Nightly News: Kids Edition, pointing out where Daly sits. Siri also shared an Instagram post to mark Shelton’s retirement from the singing competition and included pictures of the country singer and her children.
The Dalys met Shelton in April 2011, and “it was then that the giant, dimpled cowboy with his signature ‘HA!’ became part of our family,” Siri wrote in the post. She also added despite his departure from The Voice, “you’re stuck with the Daly fam…for better or for worse!”
