Marcello Hernández's Domingo has been one of the biggest characters of Saturday Night Live's 50th season. The concept is simple: A woman named Kelsey (Chloe Fineman) is serenaded by her Kel-Squad of pals, who sing a song to the groom about the bride's, erm, extracurricular activities with a man named Domingo.

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and Peacock, streaming next day on Peacock.

The first "Domingo" sketch starred Ariana Grande, with the bridesmaids singing a song set to Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso." The second saw Charli XCX and company serenading the bride with a song set to Chappell Roan's "Hot to Go."

And now, SNL50 special has delivered a fresh "Domingo" sketch — and this one's pretty meta. It saw actual Sabrina Carpenter playing a bridesmaid, at one point singing a parody set (again) to her own hit, "Espresso." The singer was joined by a sprawling cast that included Martin Short and Molly Shannon as Kelsey's parents, returning cast Andy Samberg, Beck Bennett, and Kyle Mooney, and Pedro Pascal and Bad Bunny.

"Domingo" returns to SNL50 with Sabrina Carpenter, Pedro Pascal, and more

In the sketch, Carpenter plays Sophie, Kelsey's recently incarcerated relative. She was joined once more by the Kel-Squad (Ego Nwodim, Heidi Gardner, and Sarah Sherman) to sing a number set to "Defying Gravity" from Wicked that revealed some new secrets to the groom, Matthew (Andrew Dismukes).

"Kelsey has made a commitment, so guess what? This just in: She's gonna try monogamy / She's finally learned what is monogamy, and we will hold her doooown," the group sang.

A second song, set to a Taylor Swift classic, confirmed that Kelsey still has Domingo on the brain. This is when Domingo himself showed up, along with Matthew's groomsmen, three Scotts and a Dale (Bowen Yang, Andy Samberg, Kyle Mooney, and Beck Bennett) who their own parody set to "Espresso."

"Wait: What even is this song?" Carpenter's Sophie asked — which led to us meeting  Matthew's new friend Renaldo (Pedro Pascal) and his hot cousin (Bad Bunny).

"Como se di se 'open relationship?'" Domingo and Carpenter sang at one point. And just like that: Another wedding ruined (or saved?) by Domingo! Where will he strike next?
