Auzzy Blood made quite the impression during America's Got Talent Season 17 Auditions.

His sideshow Act was not for the faint of heart or the squeamish, as he swallowed multiple sharp swords to the horror (and delight) of the audience and the Judges. So, why would he ever do such a thing? It turns out his answer is pretty inspirational.

"I basically like to endanger my life for other people's entertainment to show other people you can truly accomplish anything you put your mind to," he said. "Living in Las Vegas you see Fremont Street, all the people going out in costumes, dressing up, doing all the different Acts. And it was kind of like, 'I could do this,' and I love sideshow. Ripley's Believe It or Not, Guinness Book of World Records. That's just something I grew in love with."

In the last minutes of his performance, he even got Howie Mandel to participate. The comedian actually pushed a sword down Blood's throat in one of the most nail-biting moments of the episode. Mandel said he felt like he was going to throw up multiple times.

"I'm disgusted and entertained," Mandel said. "You are like the Beetlejuice of sideshows."

Sofia Vergara said, "I feel like I wasn't supposed to be looking at this happening, but it was fun and I thought it was very dangerous."

Blood earned a "Yes" vote from all the Judges, even a skeptical Simon Cowell, who wanted to know what he would do to impress for his next performance. Blood hinted that he'd come prepared to break a Guinness World Record. We'll just have to wait and see if he gets the opportunity.
