The 2022 Billboard Music Awards Are Airing on NBC, and the Nominations Are Here
Doja Cat and The Weeknd are the most-nominated Artists of the year.
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards ceremony is officially slated to air live on NBC on May 15 at 8 p.m ET. And the nominees have been revealed.
Leading the pack are The Weeknd with a total of 17 nominations—his “Save Your Tears (Remix)” collab with The Voice Coach Ariana Grande has six—and Doja Cat with 14. Other highlights include Justin Bieber and Olivia Rodrigo, who each have 13. On Thursday, April 14, it was announced Mary J. Blige will receive the distinguished Billboard Icon Award at the ceremony. Only 10 other performers have received this honor: Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Cher, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Garth Brooks, and P!NK.
