Former The Voice Coach Blake Shelton is serving up something festive this winter: A special holiday episode of his Barmageddon show is coming to NBC this December, aptly titled Blake Shelton's Holiday Bartacular Featruing Ice T. (More on the SVU star's connection to the special in a minute!)

How to Watch

Watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Arriving on the heels of Barmageddon Season 2, which premieres Monday, November 13 at 11/10c on the USA Network, the Barmageddon holiday episode will feature off-the-wall bar games like the ones fans came to love in Season 1 — with a dash of extra merriment and plenty of on-theme fun, naturally.

While Season 1 celebrity matchups included The Voice Coach Gwen Stefani vs Sheryl Crow and race car drivers Clint Bowyer vs. Jimmie Johnson, the holiday special is set to feature another beloved NBC star.

Shelton will face off against Law & Order: Special Victim Unit actor Ice T in games like "Merry Axe-Mas," "Christmas Carol-okie," "Little Drummer Boy (and Girl)," and more.

The holiday episode premieres Monday, December 4 at 10/9c on NBC, re-airing on USA. It will air next day on Peacock

What is Barmageddon?

The Coaches Compete in Blake and Carson's New Game Show, Barmageddon | NBC's The Voice 2022

Barmageddon is a celebrity competition show on the USA Network. Starring and executive-produced by Blake Shelton and Carson Daly, it's hosted by Wrestling Hall-of-Famer Nikki Garcia

As described by the show's official press release, "In each episode, two celebrities will play a unique set of five games in the bar to win a much-needed prize for a viral Internet sensation each has chosen to support. Plucked from obscurity following their epic misadventures on the Internet, these now-infamous stars find themselves at Ole Red hoping to be redeemed.

The competition heats up when the losing rival of each round has a chance to even the score by spinning the Wheel of Redemption, a risky move with hilarious consequences. Shelton and Daly will offer words of encouragement–and heckling, of course–to their celebrity friends. On occasion, they might even step in to show off their skills and play a game or two.

Ultimately, the winning team takes home a prize while the losing celebrity must accept the shame of defeat. But this is Barmageddon–even if they did not win, at least they had a ton of fun trying."

Nashville's a city that's known for its live music, and Barmageddon also features plenty of raucous sing-a-longs with Shelton's house band.

Where is Barmageddon filmed?

The action goes down at Shelton's Ole Red bar and restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.
