As fans prepare for the next nail-biting season of The Voice, Coach Blake Shelton is showing some love for Season 23 newbie Niall Horan with a hilarious video inspired by Horan's new song, "Heaven."
The clip in question features Shelton lip-syncing "Heaven" with passion. "This song gets me in the mood.. @niallhoran #heaven," Shelton wrote in the caption.
As the camera pans in the video for the final chorus, Shelton is revealed to be serenading an empty liquor bottle rather than an actual person. Love works in mysterious ways, we suppose!

As far as impersonations are concerned, Shelton wasn't the one to fire first. In a clip for Season 23 of The Voice, Horan donned a country accent and poked fun at Shelton for constantly reminding the Coaches and crowd that Season 23 is his final one.
Shelton announced his Voice departure in October 2022. “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23," he said in a statement. "This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew, and catering people; you are the best."
