Carson Daly Says The Voice Season 22 Singers Are the Best He's Ever Seen
The new season premieres in September.
Carson Daly has hosted The Voice since 2011, so if there's anyone we trust to drop some accurate intel on the upcoming 22nd season, it's him.
In a recent Instagram post commemorating his and Blake Shelton's birthdays and welcoming new Coach Camila Cabello to The Voice family, Daly also teased that the upcoming talent could be some of the most impressive to date.
"Thank you to my @nbcthevoice family for celebrating my birthday & @blakeshelton’s yesterday at work," Daly wrote in the caption. "Also to my wife @siriouslydelicious for shocking me by flying across the country for less than 24 hrs to spend it with me. Love you ❤️ Shout to our brand new coach @camila_cabello for immediately becoming family & crushing it on the show! Can’t wait for you all to see it in Sept! The talent is maybe the best I’ve ever seen so far…🙌🏼🎤🎸🎹."
Aside from his Voice tenure, Daly has plenty of things on his résumé that prove he knows how to spot amazing talent. Remember: The former TRL Host got his start as a live on-air DJ for several radio stations.
The Voice Season 22 will premiere Tuesday, September 20 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. It will see the return of Blake Shelton and John Legend as Coaches, and joining them are Gwen Stefani, who has coached on The Voice in the past, and new Coach Camila Cabello. (Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, of course, are married. They officially tied the knot in summer 2021.)
