Chicago Fire Showrunners Tease the Return of Multiple Characters in Season 11
Find out who will be re-entering the firehouse soon.
While the action on Chicago Fire keeps fan interest burning, the characters and their lives have us coming back for more. That's why it's always fun to see familiar faces make a return, no matter how brief the appearance might be. In a recent interview with TV Insider, Chicago Fire showrunners Derek Haas and Andrea Newman revealed that Season 11 will bring numerous old friends back into the fold.
When discussing whether or not there would be any major or surprising character returns this season, as well as the recent breakup between Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer), Haas revealed that Chicago Fire fans are bound for reunions soon.

"You’re going to get to see some faces that you haven’t seen in a while," Haas explains. "Which is Boden’s son, Terrence (Lennox Simms). It’s been a couple of years, at least, since we had a Terrence appearance. So he’s back, and we’ll see our usuals: Cindy (Robyn Coffin) and Donna (Melissa Ponzio)."
In Season 11, Episode 2, Trudy Platt made an appearance, played by One Chicago fan favorite Amy Morton. Trudy, of course, is the tough-as-nails Chicago P.D. desk sergeant that suffers absolutely no fools.
It looks like fans will see many familiar faces re-entering the scene on Season 11 of Chicago Fire. Does that mean there is more thrilling crossover action on the One Chicago horizon?
To find out, be sure to watch Chicago Fire on NBC Wednesdays at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock.
