This Photo Confirms Tracy Spiridakos Is Officially on Her Way Back to Chicago
One Chicago, she's coming for you!
Chicago P.D. fans, rejoice! It looks like Season 10 of Dick Wolf's crime series is about to be in production. Tracy Spiridakos, who plays Detective Hailey Upton, hinted as such on Instagram in July, and we couldn't help but read between the lines.
Spiridakos posted a photo carousel featuring two stunning cloud shots taken from a plane with the caption, "Chicago I’m coming for you..."
Chicago P.D. Season 10 returns to NBC Wednesday, September 21 at 10/9c, so it's safe to assume the cast and crew will be ramping up filming soon.
According to Spiridakos, joining the Chicago P.D. family has been a very rewarding experience.
"The fans are incredible," she said during an interview with BUILD. "It’s been a really wonderful experience. I joined and I was, you know, like the first day of school, you’re a little nervous and getting to know the cast and all the fans and everybody. It’s been a really a lovely experience."
Although Spiridakos was originally cast as a guest star, she was brought on as a series regular soon after.
"I came in at the end of Season 4 for three episodes, and then I came in full-time Season 5," she said.
In the interview, Spiridakos also expressed admiration for Hailey Upton's dynamic personality and authenticity.
"She’s a badass, but she’s also really vulnerable and she’s very unapologetic about who she is," Spiridakos said. "And she’s got a very strong moral compass."
