Chris Meloni's Kids Are Literally His Clones in New, Rare Vacation Pics
It looks like they're having a great time in Wyoming!
Chris Meloni and his family are currently OOO.
On June 12, the Law & Order: Organized Crime star took to his official Instagram page to share some sweet photos of himself, his longtime wife, Sherman, and their two children, Sophia and Dante, on vacation together. In the snapshots, the four pose inside a scenic building with pillars and then outdoors on a bright, sunny day. Chris and Sophia then took a selfie together in front of some stained glass windows, and Sophia also cleverly snapped a photo in front of a building that had her name on it. In the pictures, the resemblance between Chris, Sophia, and Dante is undeniable.
"Answering calls to prayer. Touring a big OLD cistern. Building hotels. The fam is loving our vaca in Wyoming," Chris jokingly wrote in the caption.
The Meloni family is ultra close with each other. Chris frequently shares his hangouts with his wife and kids on social media. In a 2014 interview with USA Today, Chris described his emotional experience with fatherhood.
“I think my kids would call me a little crazy. I’m very physical, very affectionate. I’m also very disciplined and focused on education. That’s one thing that was instilled in me, one place in life where there’s no compromise,” he told the outlet about his family. “What works for me is empowering my kids. I remember not having any power when I was growing up. Power helps kids mature, and it requires critical thinking on their part. They feel engaged in a decision, which makes them feel engaged in the family process.”
The actor explained to People in an interview that Sophia and Dante are actually polar opposites when it comes to their personalities.
"I always knew I wanted kids, as did my wife. My mother always used to say to me, 'I've learned so much from you kids,' and I didn't get it. Now I get it," he explained. "One is more of an old soul. I never used that term until they came out of the womb and I looked in their eyes. I was like, 'Holy cow, look at you. You're here to teach me.' As well as the other one, who's a young soul. It's ever-evolving and a complete fulfillment of my life."
