You'll Never Guess What Chris Sullivan Took From the This Is Us Set
Hint: it beeps.
Seeing as This Is Us wrapped up for good after its sixth and final season, it's understandable that the drama's stars are a little nostalgic. They may even want to snag some small things from set. Or maybe even a car?
Chris Sullivan (Toby) chose the latter when his wife, Rachel Sullivan revealed in a June Instagram post that Chris had officially purchased the original Pearson family Wagoneer. The actor opened up to Entertainment Weekly the month before about his decision to buy the car.
"I'm going to attempt to make it a reliable daily driver, and I want it to be our family Wagoneer," he said. "My wife and I have been talking about that car for a long time, and I have a '65 Mustang and I have a great love for vintage cars and that Jeep Wagoneer is the only kind of vintage automobile that has ever sparked my wife's interest. She is charmed by the car, so I'm excited to bring it into the family."
But the latest update in the Wagoneer saga? It turns out that there are two, with Chris and Rachel revealing in a new Instagram video that the second Jeep is now owned by HGTV's Home Town stars Ben and Erin Napier.
"This Is Us doesn’t need this Jeep anymore,” Erin said in the clip. "So what do we name it now?”
Fans will be delighted to know that the couples decided to dub the cars "Jack" and "Rebecca," respectively. The names serve as the perfect nod to the beloved Pearson patriarch and matriarch, played by Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore.
