Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Announce They're Expecting Another Baby
A huge congratulations are in order!
A baby is on the way for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend!
On Wednesday, August 3, Teigen took to Instagram to announce she and Legend are expecting.
"The last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way," Teigen wrote in a caption alongside selfies showing her baby bump. "Every appointment I’ve said to myself, 'OK, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce,' but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful, and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. OK phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!"
The Cravings author and Voice Coach have two children, Luna and Miles. In September 2020, Legend and Teigen suffered a pregnancy loss with their third son, Jack.
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions It just wasn't enough," Teigen wrote on Instagram at the time. "...We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we've been able to experience. But everyday can't be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it."
It seems the family has found that light at the end of the tunnel. Congratulations, John and Chrissy!
