See Constance Howard's 'Special' Whistle Notes That Got John and Camila to Turn
Blake Shelton said she hit a note that ''defies science!''
Twenty-seven-year-old Constance Howard from Texas blew the Voice Coaches away during her October 10th Blind Audition with her unique rendition of Justin Bieber’s ‘’Peaches." While Camila Cabello turned her chair around practically the second Howard opened her mouth, John Legend chose to do so when she hit a seriously impressive sustained whistle note. ‘’Oh my God!’’ Gwen Stefani exclaimed in awe.
‘’I wanna wrap my arms around you, baby, never let you go,’’ Howard crooned while Cabello stood up in her chair to sway to the music.
‘’It was so creative and different. You have so many incredible places in your voice,’’ Stefani praised Howard during the feedback session. Howard revealed that she got her start with singing in a choir, and since she was shy, it was her parents who encouraged her to do more public performances.

When it was time for Howard to pick between Cabello and Legend as her Coach, Cabello revealed that she has only one spot left on her team. ‘’There is nobody else like you on my team,’’ she said. ‘’I’ve been looking for somebody like you that has that character, voice, that distinctiveness."
‘’You have such a special voice,’’ Legend said, while comparing Howard’s versatile vocal range to Rihanna and Minnie Riperton. ‘’I don’t know if I’ve ever heard anyone that sounds exactly like you do."
But to see who Howard ultimately ends up choosing as her Coach, watch The Voice on NBC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock.
