Duo Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) will soon make history as they take a seat in a custom double red chair as the first-ever Coaching duo on The Voice Season 25. Dan + Shay will have double the advantage as they duke it out against Reba McEntire and John Legend, and Chance the Rapper, but the three-time Grammy winners have nothing but love for their fellow coaches.
Case in point: Dan + Shay's acoustic rendition of Coach Niall Horan's chart-topping single, "Slow Hands." In 2017 they released their take of Horan's track on their official Youtube page. The Season 25 Voice Coaches sounded downright angelic from beginning to end, effortlessly harmonizing throughout Horan's edgy love ballad. Dan + Shay's rustic timbre and Horan's catchy lyricism combine to create an energizing and refreshing performance.
