Darci Lynne's singing may seem sweet when she does her ventriloquist Act onstage, but she has proven that she also has a gritty side to her voice as well.
Exhibit A: On February 14, the America's Got Talent Season 12 winner shared a video of herself singing a rendition of the country tune ''I See Red'' by Everybody Loves and Outlaw. During her version, she belted with a raspy, fiery tone, her passion palpable.

What to know about ''I See Red'' by Everybody Loves an Outlaw
Released in 2018 off the country band's album of the same name, Dacri Lynne isn't the only America's Got Talent Contestant to nail a cover of this song. In 2022, Kristen Cruz sang ''I See Red'' during her Audition in Season 17 and earned four ''yes'' votes from the Judges.
“The moment you started signing you became so powerful, so confident. It was unexpected,” Judge Sofia Vergara told Cruz.
“Your range, your tone. You have great taste, by the way, because it was [a] great, great choice of song," Judge Simon Cowell added.
