Darci Lynne Sounds Just Like Riley Keough w/ Phenomenal Daisy Jones & The Six Cover
The AGT winner delivers a real performance of a fake band's real song.
Daisy Jones & The Six...and Darci Lynne? The America's Got Talent winner proved her rock chops in her latest cover, belting out "More Fun To Miss" in the entryway to her kitchen.
Unaccompanied, the ventriloquist and singer rocked high-waisted jeans and a flannel, a homage to the groovy, rock-and-roll lifestyle depicted in the series. "So now I’m feeling like Daisy Jones 😗," she wrote alongside the video on Instagram. Check it out if you want to feel like Daisy, too:
What to know about "More Fun To Miss" by Daisy Jones & the Six
Based on the novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the series Daisy Jones & The Six tells the story of a one-album wonder band in the 1970s. To be as true to the book as possible, an entire album titled Aurora of Daisy Jones & The Six songs was recorded and produced. This track, "More Fun To Miss," is about dual temptation: women and alcohol, character Billy Dunne's two main vices.
The song was recorded by Christmas at Graceland executive producer Riley Keough and Sam Claflin, who play singer Daisy and guitarist-songwriter Billy, respectively, and in real life was written by Blake Mills and Matt Sweeney.
