Divighn’s “Harder to Breathe” Cover Was So Great, Adam Levine Had to Stand Up
Levine was so impressed by Divighn's take on the Maroon 5 classic.
For the Knockout portion of The Voice Season 27, crooner Divighn set himself a helluva challenge: sing a Maroon 5 song in front of Adam Levine. The Team Bublé Artist chose "Harder To Breathe," the debut song from the band's debut album, Songs About Jane. And he actually pulled it off.
Adam Levine loved Divighn's version of "Harder To Breathe" on The Voice
When the fashionable singer announced his song choice, his Coach Michael Bublé immediately quipped, "Maroon 5? Never heard of them!" Coach John Legend muttered, "Here we go" as the song began, but Maroon 5 frontman Levine just smiled. Afterward, Coach Kelsea Ballerini noted that Songs About Jane is one of her favorite albums of all time, which, of course, made Levine blush.
"You got great taste in music, man," Levine half-joked when the performance was over. "I always secretly dread when people do our songs because I’m so close to it. It makes me nervous. But I love what you did with it," he continued, praising Divighn's arrangement of the tune and his ability to dance while singing. "The fact that you can get up there and move…and deliver a rock-solid vocal."
It's a compliment the Artist has received before, showing off his dance skills during his Blind Audition. "It was the first time in either of these seasons that I saw someone who is a triple threat," Bublé remarked at the time. Might we even say he has moves...like Jagger?

The biggest Maroon 5 fans are...Levine's daughters
Levine can't escape the music, even at home, he revealed to Jimmy Fallon during a visit to The Tonight Show. "They're such historians of every single song we have ever recorded," Levine said of his daughters with wife Behati Prinsloo: Dusty Rose and Gio Grace. "So much so that they'll bring songs up that I don't remember writing or singing."
"It's encyclopedic, and it's meticulous, and it's amazing," Levine added, "And I don't know how long it's going to last. But I'm going to enjoy it, because it makes me so happy. Like, I'm just going to see how long it takes for them to like other things."

"No, they'll love you forever!" Fallon, also a father to two girls, assured him. "You're a good dad."
