Found Just Revealed the Identity of Sir's Mystery Accomplice — And It's [SPOILER]?!
Who knocked out Gabi in the high school gym? Who killed Christian? We now have a prime suspect!
**SPOILER WARNING! The following contains major spoilers for Found Season 2, Episode 17!**
Who knocked out Gabi Mosely (Shanola Hampton) in the high school gym? Who killed Christian Evans (Michael Cassidy)? After week's of intensifying the mystery, NBC's Found finally revealed the identity of Sir's (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) loyal accomplice in Season 2, Episode 17, "Missing While Manipulated."
That person is none other than Hugh Evans' criminal defense attorney, Heather Tollin (Danielle Savre), who is actually Sir's half-sister, Lena. The reveal, which fans have been theorizing about since the show's return in January, explains why the woman dating Detective Mark Trent (Brett Dalton) would make the outrageous decision to represent someone her boyfriend detests.

"It changes everything that M&A knows," Savre tells NBC Insider. "No one was really looking at her. She was this misdirect that was a love interest to Trent, which caused a little bit of tension between Trent and Gabi, which is always exciting and fun to see. But what we discover is it's way more than that and this woman had an ulterior motive the entire time."
Fittingly enough, Episode 17 was directed by none other than Mr. Gosselaar himself!
Found showrunner and cast members sound off on that big Heather reveal in Season 2, Episode 17
Creator, showrunner, and executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll tells us that the surprise was always meant to arrive this late in the game, in order to let Heather/Lena become part of the "fabric" of the characters' lives before her true nature is deduced by Margaret (Kelli Williams).
"The gloves are off," the showrunner told us. "A) Because they feel like they’ve been played. And B) It comes out because our team discovers it — not because she reveals it. And so, that kind of accelerates her plan and puts her on the defensive, which, to me, there’s nothing more exciting to watch Shanola and Danielle go at it as rivals. [We’re talking] about two phenomenal actresses at the top of their game. It was truly a joy to write for them and to step on that landmine of a reveal and watch the chaos fall out."

"I think it shakes it up to not know who this Heather woman is," echoes Hampton, adding that even Gabi's "Spidey Senses" were no match for the newcomer. "She's quite beautiful, intelligent, smart, but what are her intentions? Danielle, does such a fantastic job. We're so privileged to have her on our show. She's going to shake things up and I think it's going to be a nice reveal for her."
By the time our heroes realize they've let a fox into the chicken coop, it's too little, too late. The crack-shot investigators of Mosely & Associates have been played like a fiddle by a classic femme fatale. But what else would you expect? We're dealing with a person who grew up under the tutelage of master manipulator, Sir.
"Sir is so manipulative, as is Heather, and obviously they share that bond because they were raised in the same household and because he basically raised her to be a mini version of himself," Savre adds. "Does that mean that she was his first victim? Is there more that Gabi and Heather have in common than we ever realized? ... It connects them on a deeper level, in a way that we didn't expect for the first couple episodes that Heather's character is around."
For Trent, the revelation of Heather's identity represents yet another betrayal for the pure-hearted detective, who has now fallen in love with two guilty felons, only to have his trust and moral values shattered into a million tiny pieces.

"That digs the knife in deeper and then twists it," Dalton says. "I will say the audience is extremely smart. There are a lot of twists and turns, but there have been some articles that have mentioned this as a possibility. It's great, because they're tuning in, seeing things happen, and piecing things together. It's almost like they've become as good of detectives [as Trent] ... It's betrayal on top of betrayal. And I just hope that Trent catches a break one of these days, because I really do feel for the guy. His heart is always in the right place and he's always trying to do the right thing in a very imperfect world."
New episodes of Found air Thursdays on NBC at 10 p.m. ET and stream next day on Peacock.
