Gabriel Macht Teases Returning to Suits LA: "Wild In Many Ways"
Gabriel Macht appeared in a Suits LA flashback but he's not done on the new drama just yet.
Wherever the Suits franchise goes, Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter is sure to follow.
Even with a new story being told on Suits LA, fans of the legal procedural franchise can't seem to get enough of the handsome, smooth-talking closer hotshot who likes to play fast and loose with the law.

With that said, the Harvey we see in Episode 4 ("Batman Returns") still hasn't reached his final evolution, so-to-speak. His appearance via flashback takes place before the events of Suits, when he was still working as a prosecutor under Manhattan DA Cameron Dennis (Gary Cole). He's still a few years off from the becoming the cocky hotshot who hired Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and kickstarted a messy chain reaction that would come to define most of Suits.
Whatever form Harvey takes, however, audiences will never tire of his charismatic presence.
Gabriel Macht talks reprising Harvey Specter role in Suits LA
“I think that there’s a certain element to Harvey, which is [that] he speaks from the hip. He’s very quippy,” Macht explained in a recent interview with Us Weekly. “He’s totally and utterly full of himself and has an ego — really the size of maybe a small state in the U.S. — but underneath it all, he really does have a heart of gold.”
The actor continued: “I think he really wants the best for the common person or for the every man — for whoever he’s looking out for. Initially, he’s probably way more corporate or way more self-serving. I think that what makes him resonate with audiences is that he has [made] mistakes."
Macht later went on to admit that he was prepared to never play the character again when Suits mastermind Aaron Korsh reached out with a cameo offer. His return to that universe was "super surreal" and "wild in many ways," he said, describing the job as a homecoming.
“A lot of the same writers were on the original Suits. A couple of the directors that directed the episodes that I was in, I’m very close to. There was that comfort with them and a real sort of a short dialogue that we have. The crew was great. They were just so welcoming. Everybody in LA was super easy and just into it and didn’t seem like there was any ego on the set."
In addition to Harvey, future episodes of Suits LA will also feature guest appearances from other OG characters like Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and Daniel Hardman (David Costabile).
