Gwen Stefani Says This "Middle Ground" Brings Her and Blake Shelton Together
The Voice alums may come from different worlds, but they're aligned on many things.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may have different backgrounds, but they go together like two peas in a pod.
While Stefani was on Lorraine in June, she opened up about a commonality she and Shelton have in their cozy Oklahoma home life that brings them closer together.
"Just Oklahoma in general. I didn't know I needed that. I didn't know anything about nature, really," the California native explained.
"For me, I just didn't have that experience. So to go and just be in nature...gardening for me is this super amazing middle ground for me and Blake where we come together and we're so into it," she added. "...It is so incredible. And we're doing it at such a large level with tractors and millions of seeds, and so it's really fun."

Stefani truly does seem to be living her best life gardening with Shelton. On June 29, she showed off her green thumb with an Instagram video of herself and Shelton gardening on their ranch in Oklahoma.
"There he goes. Hardest working guy I've ever met. Making me work too!" Stefani said in the clip while following Shelton with a camera.
A few days later, she showed off a sweet clip of herself making a pie in their kitchen with Shelton's help. In the video, she rolls the dough before Shelton appears on camera and makes a goofy face.
"Baking a blackberry pie with the wild blackberries Blake picked on the ranch!" Stefani wrote on the video while her song "What Would I Be?" played over. She then mixed the frosting, added some blueberries, and did a graceful spin in the kitchen. Then, in a special twist, Stefani's dog appeared on camera. How cute!

On July 24, Stefani gave us another glimpse of her gardening life with her hubby. In the video, she gathers some colorful flowers before showing off her creative arrangement again.
