NBC Is About to Make Your Halloween So Amazing (and Spooky)
See some of your favorite celebrities get spooked and more!
NBC is celebrating spooky season in the best way! On October 1, an hour-long horror special called Halloween in Hollywood will air at 8/7c and the next day on Peacock, and you won’t want to miss out on the chills and thrills.
What is the Halloween in Hollywood special?
The event will be focused on “NBCUniversal’s role in defining and redefining the [horror] genre over the past century and its vision for the future of horror.” It will also feature a special message from Jamie Lee Curtis, with a sneak peak of her new film Halloween Ends from the iconic Halloween franchise (which will premiere in theaters and on Peacock October 14). Another exciting appearance from the event will be from Robert Englund, who famously played Freddy Krueger in the original Nightmare on Elm Street films.
During the special, audiences will also get to witness celebrities such as America's Got Talent's Terry Crews and The Voice's Blake Shelton as they experience a haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. Viewers will also get an inside look at how Universal Studios and Universal Orlando Resort transform their parks into the seasonal spectacle that is Halloween Horror Nights, which is a “three-dimensional world of terror inspired by TV, music, and film’s most compelling horror properties." It runs through October 31, and thanks to the Halloween in Hollywood sweepstakes, you could win tickets for next year!
What is the Halloween in Hollywood sweepstakes?
Two lucky fans will get to win a trip to Halloween in Hollywood in 2023, thanks to an official sweepstakes hosted by NBC. The sweepstakes will go live on NBC.com on Friday, September 30 and will close on Friday, November 4. So don’t miss your chance to sign up!
