With the Blind Auditions over, The Voice Season 27 is moving on to the Battles, with pairs of Artists singing together so the Coaches can compare their voices. After each Battle, one Artist is eliminated, though the Coaches have the opportunity to "save" one per season, as well as "steal" from each other's teams. This year, the Battles are spread over three episodes.

Who are the Battle Advisors for Season 27?

Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo is advising Team Bublé. Country quartet Little Big Town is teaming up with Team Kelsea. Levine has pal Kate Hudson, and Legend has singer Coco Jones.

Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, and John Legend pose together on The Voice Season 27, Episode 1.

Bringing in new guests and stars is part of The Voice's secret to success. "People thought [The Voice] was never gonna work, and not only did it work, but it's lasted for 25 seasons," Voice Host Carson Daly told Awards Radar ahead of Season 26. "So I think that's really the crazy part is that it's staying power that we've been able to keep an audience interested and tweak the show and let the format evolve by adding Steals and those little features that kind of make it exciting again. Every time it's on, it feels fresh."

It's not only been a success for NBC, but the Artists who compete, too. "My favorite part about it [being a Coach] was when I had to let people go for the first time, I was upset about it. Until I realized that their lives had changed. Until I realized that their careers had started,” Bublé told NBC Insider. “They started to create a business that could go on."

After the Battles comes the Knockouts, then the Playoffs and finally the Live Shows. Stay tuned!
