Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon Reunite on The Tonight Show This Week
Timberlake visits The Tonight Show to celebrate his new song, "Selfish" with his friend Jimmy Fallon, who's heard JT's new album and deems it "great."
Singer and actor Justin Timberlake has been friends with Jimmy Fallon for over 20 years, ever since the two first met backstage at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards. And on Thursday, January 25, the pals and collaborators reunite on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when Timberlake will be a guest for his tenth time.
The visit comes ahead of Justin Timberlake's fourth time as a Saturday Night Live musical guest (including his 2000 debut as a member as *NSYNC)—sixth, if you count his double-duty turns as both Host and musical guest.
While Dakota Johnson assumes hosting duties on January 27's SNL, Timberlake will undoubtedly perform "Selfish," the lead single from his upcoming album, Everything I Thought It Was. We can safely assume that Fallon and Timberlake will talk about the record during his Tonight Show visit, as Fallon's been teasing the fact that he's heard it for days now.
"I heard his record," Fallon told Johnson when she visited The Tonight Show on January 22. "It's pretty cool. We hang out and stuff."
An evening later, during an interview with SNL cast member Sarah Sherman, Fallon raved about the album once again. "I'm so excited," he said. "It's great."
And THAT's how a guy supports his famous pop star friend.
