Everything to Know About Ice T's Three Kids
The SVU star is a proud father — and loves being an older dad.
Between his whirlwind music career and fan-favorite role as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Sgt. Odafin Tutuola, Ice T is a man of many achievements.
But when the workday is done, Ice T's role as a loving father steals the spotlight time and time again. As a father of three — including 8-year-old Chanel — Ice T's approach to parenting may be different than average, but he's happy with the upbringing he's provided his children.

How many kids does Ice T have?
Ice T, whose given name is Tracy Morrow, is the proud father of three children: his eldest daughter, LeTesha Marrow, 47; his son, Tracy Marrow Jr., 32; and his youngest daughter, Chanel Nicole, 8.

Ice T became a first-time father in high school, welcoming LeTesha to the world in 1976 alongside his then-girlfriend, Adrienne. In 1991, Ice T and his then-girlfriend, Darlene Ortiz, welcomed his son, Tracy Jr., into the world. In 2015, Ice T had his third child — his daughter Chanel Nicole — with his wife, Coco Austin.
Ice T's Daughter LeTesha Marrow
LeTesha, born in March 1976, holds the honor of being Ice T's firstborn. Ice T has reflected on becoming a father in high school at the apex of his career.
"When I had my first kid, I was in the middle of the wildness of becoming Ice T, all the people that were after me, and I had my head down," he told People in 2016. "I really wasn't concentrating on them, I was concentrating on survival. Now, everything is a lot more mellow."
In 1995, Ice T became a first-time grandfather after LeTesha gave birth to her son, Elyjah Marrow. LeTesha and her son later made several appearances on Ice T and Coco Austin's docuseries, Ice Loves Coco.
While LeTesha has remained primarily out of the public eye, Ice T shared a sweet picture of his eldest on his personal Instagram in March 2023. In the pic, LeTesha smiles while flaunting her new ink — a tattoo that reads “Syndicate” in honor of Ice T's 1988 track “The Syndicate."
According to LeTesha's bio on X (formerly Twitter), she's currently a writer and actor.
Ice T's Son Tracy Marrow Jr.
Ice T welcomed his son, Tracy Morrow Jr., in November 1991.
Like his father, Tracy has dabbled in the entertainment industry as a musician, donning the moniker Lil' Ice, according to TODAY, and has performed with Ice T's metal band, Body Count, as shared on the band's Instagram. Like LeTesha, Tracy also made several appearances on Ice Loves Coco.

Tracy attended Ice T's 2023 Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony alongside Ice T's other children. The patriarch took to Instagram to post photos from the event, thrilled about getting a "rare pic of the whole ICE Family."
"Let me shout out my family," Ice T gushed during the ceremony. "My son, my daughter, Coco, my wife. [Chanel], who obviously is in the position to stand behind one of these podiums one day."

The youngest in the Ice family is Chanel Nicole, whom Ice T and Coco Austin welcomed to the world in November 2015. (The couple has been married since 2002.)
Ice T has opened up about how Chanel's birth gave him a new lease on life.
“Muhammad Ali said it best, ‘When a man has a child in the second half of his life, after 50, it resets his life,’” Ice T said on V-103’s Big Tigger Morning Show in March 2023. “It started my life over. I got back healthy, now I’m back in the gym, I’m looking good, sharp, I’m strong. I’ve got to live. I can’t go nowhere. I’ve got to keep chasing these bags. I got a baby girl.”

Ice T and Coco have been having a blast with their young daughter, sharing family pictures on their daughter's Instagram account. As Ice T teased in his Hollywood Walk of Fame speech, Chanel is already quite the entertainer, having made her modeling debut at the 13th Annual Rookie USA Fashion Show in 2023.
And Ice T loves sharing pictures of his youngest with the world.
“I’m taking a lot of pictures. I’m that same guy that you go, ‘Oh, my daughter…’ and before I know it, I’m showing you pictures. I said that I’m not going to be that guy,” Ice T told People in 2020. “But now I’m just like, ‘Wait, look,’ and, ‘Wait, look at this one,’ and, ‘Wait a minute, hold up.’ You can’t help it. You’re just happy.”
Ice T and Coco Austin's Approach to Parenthood
Ice T lives his life to the beat of his own drum and has been very open about his unique approach to parenthood with his wife, Coco.
“Our parenting is a lot different than the normal, square couple from Oklahoma," Ice T told People in 2023. "I’m a f-cking rock star, it’s different. We’re like the Osbournes. We have a different dynamic in our house. But it’s not harmful. That’s the main thing. It’s us.”
The Law & Order: SVU star continued by explaining he prefers to focus on the positive when it comes to getting criticism on how he and Austin parent his youngest.

“You got to remember this: for anything anybody says about me and Coco, there’s a million billion people that are like f-ck that. So are you gonna listen to the negative?" Ice T asked. "I always say you’re insulated by love. You got so many people out there that love you. You can’t pay attention to the idiots, you know? So none of that affects us, and you can tell.”
