Season 11 of Chicago P.D. has definitely kept us on our toes.
We're barely half-way through the season, and we've seen: Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) officially divorce, Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Burgess (Marina Squerciati) get engaged for the third time, and Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) hook up with his C.I. And there's way more to come.

Is there a new Chicago P.D. coming on Wednesday, March 20?
Yes! After a two-week hiatus, Chicago P.D. Season 11 is returning with a new episode at its regular Wednesday 10/9c time slot.

Episode 7's "The Living and the Dead" will serve as a continuation of Season 11, Episode 6's "Survival," which saw Voight take in a runaway named Noah after the Intelligence Unit was unable to close his abduction case.
NBC's synopsis for "The Living and the Dead" reads: "An ongoing case hits close to home for Voight as Intelligence teams up with an SVU detective to track down a prolific offender."
Showrunner Gwen Sigan opened up about what the case means to Voight, explaining that it brought back memories of his son, Justin, who died in Season 3.
"You obviously see mirrors of that with this young boy Noah, and sort of what he represents to Voight," Sigan said. "And accessing this part of Voight that has been dormant for a long time. And wanting to show Voight opening up a bit more, and forming a connection with this child. And making him think of some of these people and these loved ones that he's lost. And you know, kind of in a very subtle way opening the question of, does he want any of that again?"
When is the next new episode of Chicago P.D.?
The season will return next week on Wednesday, March 27 with Season 11, Episode 8's "On Paper," which will focus on Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and a new SVU detective, Petrovic.
