Is Deal or No Deal Island New Tonight? (April 15, 2025)
Boston Rob was "highly impressed" by the winner of DONDI Season 2.
After an action-packed and suspense-filled season of Deal or No Deal Island, David Genat ultimately walked away from NBC’s competition reality series as a much richer man. Specifically, $5.8 million richer.
During the finale episode, Genat played one of the most high-stakes and intense games of Deal or No Deal against Season 2’s Banker Chrissy Teigen that had everyone’s jaws on the floor. Genat, however, told NBC Insider why he was so at ease as it all went down.
“I'll tell you exactly what happened. I was closing my eyes. I was like praying, I was like meditating, and the cases I was supposed to pick were flashing, like Mission: Impossible. I would get this little light thing,” Genat said. "So I was getting signs, and whether that was from God or from my dad — my dad, who passed a few years ago — I don't know where it was coming from. But I was getting these signs.”

Like everyone watching at home, "Boston Rob" Mariano said during the after show that he was “highly impressed” by Genat’s gameplay. "You were a freaking psycho, bro," he told DONDI's Season 2 winner, aka the Golden God of Australian Survivor.
While she didn’t walk away with millions of dollars, DONDI’s Season 2 runner-up Alexis Lete told NBC Insider she was “immensely proud of the game” she played.
"I was immensely proud of the way I carried myself. I was immensely proud of the way that I was able to take my roots from Kentuckiana and put that on a show where people are made to lie and manipulate and not have to do that to do amazing in the game," she said. "I fell short of winning, yes, of course — but I could have won. And you could win by playing this honest and truthful, integrity-driven game."

The Season 2 finale of Deal or No Deal Island aired on March 25, revealing which player won the biggest cash prize in network television history.
Even though DONDI has wrapped for the season, NBC still has plenty of incredible shows to watch on Tuesday nights including St. Denis Medical, Night Court, a recap of The Voice’s most recent episode from Season 27, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
