Ice T just made his feelings about work very clear!
After 25 years on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, is Ice T ready to hang up the badge?
Simply put, no. The answer is no. And Ice T took to Instagram on March 28 to address any fear that he's "retiring" soon.
Sharing photos of himself hanging out with Mariska Hargitay on the street, and one of him on stage, Ice T wrote in his caption, "RETIRE??? I'm lucky enough to Act and do Music…. As an Artist, those are jobs you simply NEVER want to stop doing.. Ever 💎."
Between starring as Odafin "Fin" Tutuola for so many years on SVU and traveling the world as part of Body Count, his rock band, the star is exactly where he wants to be in life. And he couldn't be happier.
Ice T and Hargitay's smiles in the photo he shared say it all. These two have a friendship like no other.

While speaking to Entertainment Weekly in 2024 for a feature commemorating the 25th season of SVU, both stars revealed what it was like working with each other early on in the show's run.
"It was interesting, because I only came on for four episodes, so I didn't know how long I was going to have to be around the people," Ice T explained. "You're walking into a room full of people you don't really know. I didn't know Chris [Meloni], I didn't know Mariska, so I was just trying to be good."

The two became close friends on and off the set, and the rest is history.
