Weekend nights are made all the more entertaining with Saturday Night Live, but sadly for weekly watchers, the comedy showcase is going on a brief hiatus in March.
Season 48 has featured a stacked lineup of hilarious Hosts and mesmerizing musical guests. From fresh-faced newbies like Host Jenna Ortega to veteran comedians like Steve Martin and Martin Short, we've seen some incredible talent walk through the doors of the iconic studio 8H this season. So far, the side-splitting SNL cast and writers' group Please Don't Destroy have delivered straight hits throughout each episode's sketch lineup, and it's been awesome to see each Host step up to the plate.

This April Fool's Day is bound to be one of the funniest yet because we have debut Host Quinta Brunson in the house! Brunson will be joined by first-time musical guest Lil Yachty.
Brunson may be new to the SNL studio, but she is already a comedic legend as the creator and star of the hit school place comedy Abbott Elementary. Before she collected her three Emmys and numerous nominations for her work on the series, Brunson starred in A Black Lady Sketch Show and the beloved BuzzFeed web series Girl Who Has Never Been on a Nice Date.
Lil Yachty is a beloved rapper known for his hits “Minnesota" and "Poland." Lil Yachty has been exploring a genre remix by releasing the psych-rock album Let's Start Here in January 2023, and fans anticipate he may perform music from the project during the April 1 SNL episode.
