NBC's hit nature docuseries officially comes to an end tonight with an exploration of "Patagonia."
NBC's hit nature docuseries The Americas will close out its 10-episode event series this evening with a Tom Hanks-narrated exploration of "Patagonia," which the official episode synopsis describes as "an untamed wilderness at the edge of the Americas."
Tonight's episode includes never-before-seen footage from Los Estados Island off Argentina, where rockhopper penguins contend with crashing waves and hungry sea lions; an elusive mama puma hunting in the snowy environs of Chile's Torres del Paine; male Chilean stag beetles battling for mates in epic microscopic glory; a male Darwin’s rhea raising his brood and even adopting a lost chick; ginormous elephant seals clashing for dominance; and even a matriarch orca showing her family how to catch seals by beaching themselves.

Yes! The tenth and final episode of The Americas, "Patagonia," will air on NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET tonight, Sunday, April 13, and lead into a brand-new episode of Suits LA. Tune in an hour earlier at 7:00 p.m. ET to catch an encore presentation of "The Andes," the series’ seventh episode.

The Americas officially comes to an end tonight, but fans can get an extended look behind-the-scenes via The Making of The Americas special, airing on NBC next Sunday, April 20, at 8:00 p.m. ET before making its way to Peacock the following day.
