Why John Legend Wore 4 Different Monochromatic Suits to His Chicago Concerts
The Voice Coach had to match the mood of the night multiple times.
John Legend will perform rain or shine, and is not afraid to switch things up while doing so.
On August 17, the "All of Me" singer shared some snapshots of the four different monochromatic outfits he wore for concerts in Chicago on August 13 and 14. He started off with a brick red Gucci suit, then looked dashing in a muted gold Tom Ford jacket. Next, he rocked a sleek black getup, including Prada shoes, then tied everything together with a cream jacket from Givenchy.
The rain may poured down the day of the show, but Legend was determined to bring his A-game to his set at Ravinia Festival, an outdoor venue. Luckily, his fans stuck by his side.
"Chicago, I had to show up for you since you braved the elements for me! Thank you for two beautiful nights at the @raviniafestival!," he captioned the post, giving a shoutout to the lavish stage in The Windy City.

Legend also showed off his fashion chops with two of his adorable children Luna, 7, and Miles 6, last month in July 2023.
Since the last day of the kiddos' camp was "Dress Like a Rockstar" theme, what better way to honor the occasion than by wearing some matching leather jackets? In the epic picture, Legend rocked some seriously cool shades and an edgy leather jacket with studs at the shoulders, along with some black jeans and combat boots. Meanwhile, Luna and Miles twinned with their daddy, also wearing leather jackets.
"Last day of camp was 'Dress Like a Rockstar. I saved this jacket from a certain Lip Sync Battle performance," Legend captioned the post, referencing his appearance on Lip Sync Battle where he performed "Slow Motion" by Juvenile.

Legend also gave Luna and Miles a glimpse into his life as a performer this Father's Day. On June 18, he shared some photos of him guiding the two around Berkley, California for his "An Evening With John Legend" concert. In the pictures, Legend adorably guides Luna and Miles up a flight of stairs while he wears a stark white suit, before we catch a glimpse of the three playing outside.
"Luna and Miles came with me to Berkeley today. What a wonderful day with my babies. A wonderful night with all of you at The Greek! ❤️" Legend proudly captioned the post.
