Kelli Giddish has a new little partner in crime.
On October 1, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star shared the most heartwarming clip of her bonding with her newborn baby, Oldie. In the video, she stands in front of a soothing fireplace, cradling the baby in her arms and gently swaying back and forth. The actress looked totally at peace while "Lover's Prayer" by Gillian Welch played over the clip.
"Got a real good dance partner #bestsaturdaynites #thanksgillianwelch #thanksoldie thanks @botorious," she captioned the post, which was liked by her co-star Mariska Hargitay.

Kelli Giddish welcomes her third son
Giddish is now a mama of three boys, as she welcomed Oldie to the world in June 2023. She announced the wonderful news via Instagram on September 14, sharing a black and white snapshot of her laying down with her husband, Beau Richards, and the adorable newborn.
"My husband and I welcomed Oldie Richards on June 20th and we are so in love and so very grateful. Oldie- you’ve brought immeasurable JOY to me and your daddy and your two brothers (and your grandparents and aunts and uncles!). You wake up smiling and the light you bring to each moment is truly incredible," Giddish gushed in the caption.
Giddish revealed the news of her pregnancy in May, sharing a sweet picture of her giving her husband a kiss on the cheek. "Can’t wait to welcome our baby boy soon!" she captioned the post.

Interestingly, Giddish's SVU character Amanda Rollins was pregnant in Season 24 of the show with her third child, expecting a baby with her on-screen partner, Carisi.
Giddish's other two children are 7-year-old Ludo and 4-year-old Charlie. On September 2, she posted an ultra-cute clip of the two boys having some playtime at night. In the video, their shadows dance together in front of some trees while Giddish holds the camera.
"Its a dance fight mom, look!" one child exclaimed.

In a 2022 interview with Variety, Giddish opened up about her departure from the show.
"My side of things is just that it’s time in the Rollins storyline. I felt like where it was heading, and where it headed last night, just seemed the right place to leave it right now. I am so excited about things going on in my personal life and kind of the mirroring of what’s going on in my personal life and in Rollins’, there’s a lot of joy to be experienced."
