This Woman Had No Idea Kelly Clarkson Was Singing to Her on the Vegas Strip
You have to watch the moment when she realizes who Clarkson is!
Kelly Clarkson just surprised another talented singer in the best way.
Here's what happened: On September 23, when Clarkson was heading to her iHeartRadio rehearsal in Las Vegas, she came across a street performer with a gorgeous voice singing "What's Love Got to Do With It" by Tina Turner. Clarkson then joined in on the performance, showing off her signature powerful vocals. The performer didn't recognize Clarkson until the two embraced in a hug.
"Are are f***ing kidding me?!" the performer said after realizing who Clarkson was. What a special moment!
"I was on my way to soundcheck for @iHeartRadio tonight in Vegas and was tipping this incredible woman killing some Tina Turner and then she asked me to sing and had no clue who I was, and then it hit her, and it made my day! She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off! See ya tonight Vegas ❤️," Clarkson captioned the post.

Kelly Clarkson's Las Vegas residency
That sweet interaction isn't the only thing that Clarkson has been up to in Sin City. She recently wrapped up her 10-show residency in Las Vegas, titled Chemistry: An Intimate Evening, to promote her new album, Chemistry. There, she performed songs such as "As It Was" by Harry Styles and even invited her children, 9-year-old River Rose, and 7-year-old Remington, onstage with her.
In an Instagram post, Clarkson explained why she chose to do the 10-show residency instead of a full-blown national tour, and her reason is totally relatable to a lot of her fans. "Here's the thing. This is why I announced the 10 shows in Vegas. I was not being like, 'Oh, it's a secret we've really got this huge tour we're gonna do right after.' It's not that situation. It really is like — I don't know if y'all noticed, but I have, like, a 9 to 5-er. I have, like, a job that's like a lot of work and takes time. And I also have kids, y'know, they're in school. So I get really tied down to those things, obviously. So we are trying to figure out what the possibilities are in certain parts of out calendar. We are trying to do that," she said.

She echoed a similar sentiment on The Kelly Clarkson Show. “I’m only doing 10 shows,” she emphasized to fans. “I could only commit to 10 shows. That’s why it's exclusive. There are only 10 shows. I ain’t adding more. I’m telling you right now. Mama needs a little bit of a minute of a break."
