Kelly Clarkson Just Surprise-Dropped a Music Video—Co-Starring the TODAY Show Hosts
Clarkson moved her show to NYC, and saw some fellow NBC talent during her newest Kellyoke.
Now that The Kelly Clarkson Show has moved to New York City, Kelly Clarkson has been spotting some familiar faces with her transition to the East Coast.
To celebrate the kick off of Season 5 of Emmy-winning talk show, the former Voice Coach, of course, started things off with an inspirational Kellyoke that featured some special guests along the way.

The clip began with Clarkson singing her new song "i won't give up," while strolling around the famed 30 Rockefeller Plaza. And when she walks inside the building, the elevator doors open to reveal NBC Nightly News' Lester Holt.
Clarkson gives him a hug, before walking to the front desk to see TODAY host Al Roker. The two also embrace and Clarkson trots to a dressing room to greet other TODAY Hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, and Seth Meyers on The Kelly Clarkson Show
Better yet, Seth Meyers was the first guest of the fifth season's premiere episode. He was thrilled that Clarkson's show is now in the legendary 30 Rock, where he also films Late Night With Seth Meyers. In fact, he wrote Clarkson a personalized, handwritten note, welcoming her to New York City.
Then, when Kotb and Bush Hager later sat down with Clarkson, they surprised her with some delicious queso!
"You're so Texan right now!" Clarkson quipped to Bush Hager when she saw the dish.
The two then congratulated Clarkson on her transition to The Big Apple. "We've been waiting for you. You fit here like a puzzle piece," Kotb said sentimentally.
All about Kelly Clarkson's newest album Chemistry
Her song "i won't give up" is the 15th track of the deluxe version of Chemistry, Clarkson's 10th studio album. The original version was released on June 23, 2023, while the deluxe version featuring five new tracks was released September 22, 2023. The album features a collaboration with Steve Martin on the track "I Hate Love," while the deluxe version features vocals from Clarkson's daughter, River Rose, on the track "You Don't Make Me Cry." The first singles from Chemistry were the two breathtaking tunes "Mine" and "Me," the first of which she performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show a few days after its release.

In a March 26 Instagram post, Clarkson explained her artistic inspiration behind the behind the album.
"It's called Chemistry because I was trying to find a word—also, it might be one of the songs on the album—but I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing," she explained to fans while in her dressing room. "Because I didn't want everyone to think I was just coming out with some, 'I'm angry, I'm sad' [album], just one or two emotions. This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship. A whole relationship shouldn't be just brought down to one thing. So there's the good, the bad, and the ugly kinda thing going on. Chemistry can be a really amazing sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you. So that's why I named it Chemistry. I thought it was the perfect title to describe the entire album."
